Compression Molding & Vulcanization

Rubber compression molding, or vulcanization, forms rubber compounds into desired shapes with heat and compression. The rubber is preheated and loaded into a mold cavity. The cavity is then sealed and compressed with hydraulic pressure, and the rubber is cured into its final shape. Compression molding can be used for manufacturing simple and complex rubber products.

Injection Molding

Rubber injection molding is one of the most efficient methods to mold rubber. The rubber material is injected into a mold and cured into shape. This process is repeatable and quick, making it ideal for large-scale production runs. Injection molding is highly versatile and can create custom rubber parts for all types of applications.

Transfer Molding

Rubber transfer molding uses “preforms” or uncured rubber compounds to manufacture custom parts. Preforms are loaded into transfer pots and pushed into the mold cavity, where the rubber is heated and cured into its final shape. Transfer molding produces exceptionally tight tolerances and is ideal for precision applications.
